I will break the guide up into 5 parts. Making the LOD may be pretty straightforward and simple, but there are some things that you will got to know before you start.
Here is how the guide would be organized;
Knowledge required before you start
1) Parts and components needed
2) Connector and pins, which pin leads to ground, left and right (stuff like that)
DIYing sequence
3) The 3.5mm plug. what to do with it and things to take note
4) The wire/cables. How to braid them? Things to take note?
5) The dock connector. What to do with it and things to take note?
Finish.
By the end of the guide hopefully you will have a nice and working LOD in front of you. I will try to share as many small tips with everyone as i can remember, like how to test the wires easily. I will review the guide frequently and add more stuff as needed.
